Nigerian final-year students struggling with economic pressures and rising tuition fees received a welcome boost today with the launch of the "Selar Tuition Fund." This initiative, spearheaded by Africa's leading creator, Selar, aims to alleviate financial burdens and empower 50 deserving individuals nationwide.

"The cost of education has placed immense strain on students, especially in this challenging economic climate," said Selar founder and CEO, Douglas Kendyson. "The Selar Tuition Fund is our way of giving back and ensuring deserving students can focus on their studies and achieve their dreams."

Each selected student will receive a ₦100,000 grant. Selar is also committed to offering internship opportunities and fostering career development alongside financial support.

Final-year students enrolled in Nigerian universities are encouraged to apply. Selection criteria include academic performance, a clear statement of purpose, and demonstrable financial need. Applications are open via a dedicated online form from February 14th to February 21st, 2024.

The "Selar Tuition Fund" goes beyond financial assistance. It aligns with Selar's core values of empowering creators and promoting quality education. The initiative contributes to Nigeria's Sustainable Development Goal for education, ensuring inclusive and equitable learning opportunities for all.

"Every child deserves quality education," emphasized Kendyson. "We're excited to contribute to this goal and see the impact on these students' lives."
