Treepz, a prominent online rental platform in Africa, has announced the appointment of four seasoned professionals to its board of directors. Notable among the fresh faces are Jane Egerton-Idehen, a former executive at Meta-owned Facebook, and Adejare Rasheed Olaoluwa, the former Managing Director of Nigeria's esteemed Bank of Industry. With this strategic maneuver, Treepz aims to harness their collective expertise to facilitate its ambitious expansion in the imminent months.

The announcement, conveyed through a press statement shared exclusively with the press, underscores Treepz's strategic intent to enhance shareholder value and strategically position the company for sustainable expansion. As Treepz's board plays a pivotal role in shaping and safeguarding the company's core vision, this move comes as a calculated effort to optimize the utilization of the 26 million automobiles that traverse Africa's roads.

The newly appointed board members include Ebenezer Arthur and Laura Venasse, who collectively bring a diverse array of skills to complement Treepz's strategic pursuits. Arthur, a seasoned board member, boasts an impressive 18-year track record in sales, transportation, and technology. His multifaceted involvement also extends to his roles as Managing Partner of Wangara Capital Partners and Managing Director at Wangara Green Ventures, an investment firm dedicated to promoting sustainable practices such as renewable energy, waste management, and energy efficiency in Ghana. The company has articulated that Arthur's profound insights into impact investing and business acceleration are expected to play a pivotal role in shaping Treepz's evolution.

Adejare Rasheed Olaoluwa, who joins the team with a robust background in strategic management and investment from his tenure at Nigeria's Bank of Industry, is poised to lend his expertise to Treepz's pursuit of sustainable expansion. His insights are anticipated to play a central role in realizing the company's strategic objectives.

Laura Venasse, stepping into the role of Board Secretary, enriches the team with her legal acumen, particularly in the intricate realm of mergers and acquisitions. This addition is expected to further fortify Treepz's operational framework, ensuring legal compliance and effective governance.

Jane Egerton-Idehen, who brings to the table an impressive history as the former Head of Sales for Meta's Middle East and Africa market, further solidifies the board's strategic prowess. Egerton-Idehen's experience as an angel investor and strategic consultant, coupled with her extensive leadership roles at Nokia Siemens Network and Ericsson, positions her as a valuable asset in steering Treepz's future trajectory.
