Select Ventures Holding Backs The Digital Hotelier in Pre-Seed Funding Round.

13 Jun 2023

The Digital Hotelier, a startup based in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) that operates in the travel technology industry, improves revenue and enhances the experience of guests by enabling all services to be accessed with a single click. The company has secured a pre-Seed round of funding in the six-figure range from Select Ventures Holding, which includes a group of angel investors from the UAE and Saudi Arabia.

Established in 2022 by Qutaiba Alali and Ali Fouad, The Digital Hotelier provides a software solution that allows guests and tourists to make reservations and payments for various hotel services, including room service, spas, food, and entertainment. The startup's solution, which supports multiple languages, is also tailored for hotel apartments and vacation homes that offer short stays.

Alali stated, "Dubai is at the heart of the thriving tourism industry in the region, attracting over 14 million visitors annually and establishing itself as a premier global destination. Although hotels have made progress in this regard, the process of ordering services still heavily relies on direct communication, which can be challenging for tourists, especially those facing language barriers. "To tackle this issue, we have implemented innovative solutions to streamline the ordering process and ensure that all guests, regardless of their familiarity with local ordering platforms, can enjoy a hassle-free stay," he added.
