PressOne Africa Announced the Closing of Her Pre-Seed Round

19 May 2023

PressOne Africa raised a $600,000 pre-seed round and announced its closing, organized to assist entrepreneurs and business owners to monitor and connecting with their customers. Hence, the round was led by Ventures Platform, with participation from Voltron Capital and a set of stellar angels.

We all know that sometimes customers are dissatisfied with employees’ responses and behavior, and this initiative helps entrepreneurs run their businesses efficiently, knowing that customers are not dissatisfied and properly attended to, while also achieving maximum value from their customers.

However, PressOne Africa is a startup founded by Mayowa Okegbenle and Opeyemi Shokunbi, intending to help entrepreneurs use the PressOne app to monitor customer conversations made by employees and business calls on the go. More so, their goal is to help entrepreneurs develop their businesses through customer communication.

Mayowa Okegbenle, CEO said that entrepreneurs will be able to have a clear understanding of what happens between customers and staff as phone calls are the primary channel for building new customer relationships and closing transactions for businesses that receive many calls from customers. He further said, "Today, your typical entrepreneurs use their SIM-based number for business, and that is probably fine if you are alone in the business; they also purchase the same SIM-based numbers for their employees to interact with customers." The problem with this is that they lose visibility of that employee’s interactions with customers. With PressOne, they can purchase business phone numbers for employees and stay in control of all customer interactions within their business. Hence, we have particularly built this for entrepreneurs, with no need to set up anything and starting at a price point of 1499 per month.

Kola Aina Founding partner, of Venture Platform, expressed that ‘’we are excited to back PressOne as they help millions of businesses in Africa to stay more connected with customers and will also enable more successful brands and business to unlock deeper and more personal relationships with their tipping point with the evolution of customer services and businesses that will thrive in this season will be those who can listen deeply and attentively.

However, customers play a very big role and are important in every business and brand and so, customer service should be taken very seriously and it will help the growth and development of businesses. Hence, visit www.pressone.africa to benefit from this opportunity.
