Nigeria's alGROWithm Secures $X Million to Fuel Growth Hacking Talent Explosion Across Africa.

04 Feb 2024

A pivotal moment for Africa's tech scene arrives as Nigeria's pioneering growth-focused talent accelerator, alGROWithm, secures a substantial $X million investment to supercharge its flagship Growth Talent Accelerator Program (GTAP) across the continent. This historic injection of capital marks a major milestone nearly two years after AlGROWithm made waves with the launch of Africa's first-ever GTAP in March 2022.

With this significant boost, alGROWithm will not only democratize access to valuable growth hacking skills by offering scholarships for aspiring growth hackers to join its programs, but also fuel the expansion of GTAP into thriving tech hubs across Africa, including Kenya, Rwanda, Uganda, and South Africa. This expansion, joining the program's original bases in Nigeria and Ghana, significantly amplifies GTAP's reach and impact, fostering a pan-African network of growth talent.

"Since our pilot in 2022, we've identified two critical needs," explains Bili Sule, Founder, and Chief Growth Officer at alGROWithm. "There's a ravenous demand for more growth hacking talent, as evidenced by the lightning-fast employment of our program graduates. We also observed that many companies prefer to upskill their existing teams instead of starting from scratch."

GTAP caters to diverse learning styles and needs, offering both GTAP Lite, a 100% online intensive designed for individual growth enthusiasts, and GTAP Pro, a hybrid program empowering companies to transform their internal teams into formidable growth engineers. Pro boasts a seamless blend of in-person growth hacking boot camps with online lectures and workshops, ensuring a comprehensive and immersive learning experience.

"We ran the Pro model with companies like Paga, Figorr, and Kebble last year, with phenomenal results," Bili Sule emphasizes. "This success fueled our decision to offer both propositions moving forward. This year alone, we aim to train over 150 growth leads across East, West, and Southern Africa, a testament to our unwavering commitment to bridging the growth talent gap in the ecosystem and propelling African businesses to stratospheric heights."

For those yearning to join the ranks of Africa's elite growth engineers, alGROWithm's GTAP is more than just a program; it's a transformative springboard to launch a stellar career in the booming tech landscape.
