Aremu's triumph as the overall winner, securing a coveted cash prize of $5,000, validated its transformative potential. The competition was fierce, with ten exceptional finalists showcasing their visionary pitches at the finals held at the illustrious Oriental Hotel in Victoria Island, Lagos.
The evening was further enriched by the presence of ten remarkable startups that captivated the audience with their innovative pitch sessions. Aremu, Ozi, Zander, Weeshr, Markett AI, VirtualX, Contenting, Shopalz, ShopXR, and GetSeen showcased their cutting-edge ideas, leaving an indelible impression on the event's attendees.
The journey doesn't end here for the top five finalists of MarkHack 2.0. They are set to embark on a transformative three-month incubation program at the prestigious Eko Innovation Center. This invaluable opportunity will provide them with the necessary resources and mentorship to shape their ideas into market-ready products. Moreover, as a testament to their remarkable potential, they will receive a seed capital of $50,000 USD upon completing the program, fueling their path to success.
