This announcement comes just a week after Musk expressed his frustration with OpenAI's relationship with Microsoft, claiming that the company he helped establish as a non-profit organization had become a closed-source, profit-driven entity controlled by Microsoft.
Musk, who severed ties with OpenAI due to disagreements over the company's nonprofit status, has also been critical of the organization's approach to filtering out harmful content to make ChatGPT less biased, stating that they were "training AI to be woke." As a strong advocate for free speech, Musk has expressed his desire to create a chatbot with fewer speech restrictions that could be integrated into Twitter.
