CANAL+ Group strengthens its commitment to African content by acquiring a stake in Marodi TV, a Senegalese production powerhouse.

Marodi TV, known for its hit shows like "Pod & Marichou," has captivated audiences with over 600 hours of content across digital platforms and local channels.

This partnership expands CANAL+ Group's reach in Africa and offers Marodi TV resources to elevate its productions and potentially explore new languages.  The two companies are already collaborating on a content slate for CANAL+ Group's upcoming Pulaar channel.

"This investment reinforces our dedication to Africa's creative industries," said Fabrice Faux of CANAL+ INTERNATIONAL. Marodi TV CEO Serigne Massamba Ndour sees the alliance as a springboard to "export our successful model across the continent."

This move solidifies CANAL+ Group's role as a leader in African content creation, offering the best African stories to its subscribers.
