Starting today, with the release of iOS 18.4, iPadOS 18.4, and macOS Sequoia 15.4, Apple Intelligence features are available in a variety of new languages, including French, German, Italian, Portuguese (Brazil), Spanish, Japanese, Korean, and Chinese (simplified), along with localized English for users in Singapore and India. This rollout makes Apple Intelligence accessible in nearly all regions worldwide.
For the first time, iPhone and iPad users in the European Union can access Apple Intelligence features, further enhancing the platform's reach and usability. Furthermore, Apple Intelligence is now available on the innovative Apple Vision Pro platform, introducing a suite of features designed to help users communicate, collaborate, and express themselves in entirely new ways.
Vision Pro users can take advantage of a range of capabilities, including:
• Writing Tools: Users can proofread, rewrite, and summarize text or compose new content from scratch using ChatGPT.
• Image Playground: This feature allows users to explore unique visual expression techniques while creating highly detailed sketches with an added Sketch style option.
• Genmoji: Users can design the perfect emoji for any conversation, enhancing their communication with personalized visuals.
The latest release also introduces useful features such as **Priority Notifications**, which help users manage time-sensitive communications more effectively, and the ability to create memory movies on Mac by simply typing a description.
At the heart of Apple Intelligence is a commitment to user privacy. The system is designed to protect users' privacy at every step, utilizing on-device processing to handle data securely. For requests needing access to larger models, Apple employs Private Cloud Compute, which extends iPhone privacy and security into the cloud while unlocking a broader range of intelligent features.
