Initially formed in 2019 by the founders of Medisys Health Group and Persistence Capital Partners, Canada’s largest Healthcare Private Equity firm. Esplanade focuses on early-stage and high-growth companies within digital health and primarily invests in Seed and Series A companies, with a geographic focus on Canada, the United States, Europe and the Middle East. Their team is composed of healthcare practitioners, operators and founders and the firm prefers to invest in digital health, medtech, and healthcare information technology sectors. Esplanade empowers innovative digital health companies by supplementing capital with active strategic direction, business development and distribution channel support.
