About
LatAm Startups is a non-profit accelerator based in Toronto that exclusively works with international startups and newcomers based in Canada. The organization is a designated sponsor for Canada’s Startup Visa program and is a pioneer in bringing the world’s top startups to Canada, helping them scale globally from Toronto. The accelerator offers a three-phase program that includes entry into the market, acceleration, and business growth. The program is supported by various corporations in Canada and abroad, as well as by the City of Toronto, Startup Here Toronto, and the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario (FedDev Ontario). The organization is a member of the National Angel Capital Organization in Canada (NACO), a national community for Angels, Incubators, and Accelerators. LatAm Startups also shares stories from their startups and relevant news to the startup community in Latin America and Canada. They offer various programs, including the Newcomer Entrepreneur Acceleration Program and the Phase III Accelerator Program, which are partially funded by the City of Toronto and Startup Here Toronto.
