About
Venture Meda is an incubation and acceleration program designed to support the growth of high-potential e-commerce businesses in Ethiopia. The program is implemented by iceaddis in partnership with the Mastercard Foundation and the Ministry of Innovation and Technology Ethiopia. The program's primary objective is to create job opportunities and contribute to the growth of the local private sector in Ethiopia by revitalizing high-return, high-potential, and high-growth e-commerce businesses. The program achieves this by offering incubation and acceleration programs to new and existing e-commerce ventures. Through its Accelerator Program, Venture Meda provides selected startups with access to training, mentorship, funding, and networks to help them scale and succeed in the e-commerce market. The program is designed to help startups overcome the challenges of growing their businesses, such as funding, market access, and talent acquisition.
