The General Delegation for Rapid Entrepreneurship for Women and Youth (DER) was launched by the President of Senegal to catalyze entrepreneurship all around Senegal, targeting youth up to 40 years and women from 18 years old and up, with no age limit. The program provides entrepreneurship lessons and funding as small financing, incubation funding, equity financing and low-interest loans. In addition, DER has a D-Hub which acts as a catalyst and ecosystem builder to boost entrepreneurship and multi-sector innovation. The hub has a fab lab and share co-working spaces.
