About
Vodacom Digital Accelerator Program, a partnership between Vodacom Tanzania and Smart Labs, supports early-stage and growth-stage technology startups with disruptive products and services that have the potential to be brought into the market. The accelerator takes startup founders through training, mentorship, and technical support. They are then provided with access to tools and funding that will empower them to grow into profitable revenue-generating businesses. The selected startups receive benefits such as equity-free funding and follow-on investment, access to M-PESA for business services, access to industry experts, access to training and tools, regulatory and compliance support, and technology support. Vodacom digital accelerator program only supports startups in the tech field. The sectors supported include fintech edtech, healthtech, entertainment, tourism, agriculture, cyber security, and e-commerce.
