XL Africa is a five-month World Bank-supported business accelerator programme for African digital startups, offering participants help in securing up to US$1.5 million in early-stage capital. The programme is mainly delivered digitally through several video modules available on demand. Also, it includes a two-week in-person residency where the ventures interact with and learn from mentors, peers, and local partners. L’Afrique Excelle, is the Francophone edition of the XL Africa accelerator launched in 2019.
