About
Jamlab, short for the Journalism and Media Lab, is a project of Wits Journalism. Their work aims to support more and better innovation in journalism and media in Africa. Jamlab supports innovation by providing innovators with information, inspiration, and networks to support more innovation. Their work is done through three programmes; Knowledge Hub which showcases innovations and innovators, shares experiences of using new technologies and tools and provide access to research. Community Programme, which provides the opportunity to share experiences, knowledge, and learning. Accelerator Programme, which provides coaching, mentoring, working space, technical support and the opportunity to meet leaders in journalism and media as well as potential investors and partners.
