The Baraza Media Lab is an initiative that aims to serve as a crucial building block as they look to strengthen the Kenyan media ecosystem, work to rebuild trust amongst the key players in the ecosystem and the public, and put in place resources that will help address challenges being faced in terms of business models. The Baraza Media Labs programs include startup incubation, fellowships, micro-grants, Story Sosa: a program that delivers evenings of live, multimedia journalism in front of a live audience, and Fumbua: a collaborative journalism project to tackle mis- and dis-information, among others.
