Mzuzu E Hub was established in June 2017 with the aim of building a community of young entrepreneurs who are creating innovative solutions and contributing to the development of their communities through job creation and poverty eradication in the northern region of Malawi. The hub runs Bizcubation program which supports idea to early-stage entrepreneurs in the northern region of Malawi through capacity building training, learning visits, expert coaching and mentorship, linkages to markets and funding. Those companies under the program come from a diverse backgrounds in agriculture production, processing, supply chain management, media and ICT, fashion and designing, construction, water and sanitation, and renewable energy. The hub also provides digital skills training, awareness and literacy workshops to bridge the digital literacy gap among youth and women in Malawi. Skills training includes photography, videography, music/sound engineering, radio/podcasting, coding, creative writing/blogging, graphic design, and web/app development.
