Kumasi Hive is an innovation hub located in Ghana. The hub is a collaborative maker space for entrepreneurs to prototype ideas and develops products that have market value. They seek to develop a sustainable business in Ghana and provide innovative support to projects with business models and provide space for hardware and products for youth entrepreneurs. The Hub has two incubation or accelerator activities; hardware incubator and business accelerator. Through the Hardware incubator, they incubate selected promising hardware startups, helping them move from the idea stage through prototyping to the product-for-market stage with both technical and business development support. The business accelerator program focus on non-hardware startups program, they provide complete startup support services for early-stage startups to help achieve growth, contributing to the sustainable socio-economic growth of Africa.̀ Kumasi Hive is an innovation hub for rapid prototyping of ideas, budding local innovations, impact start-up support & promoting youth entrepreneurship as a way of addressing critical social economic, and developmental challenges. They also provide Co-working space, Event space, Training Space, Makerspace, and Hardware studio.
