REGTECH AFRICA CONFERENCE
The 2023 RegTech Africa Conference is set to host the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), where they will showcase crucial standards, guidelines, and frameworks to develop, standardize, and regulate information technology practices in the face of the global digital revolution. Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi, the Director General of NITDA, will be in attendance to discuss Information Technology policy objectives and provide practical frameworks for implementing these policies. Alongside other speakers, Inuwa will address the need to bridge the gap between regulatory reporting and technology, and explore how technology and data can simplify regulatory reporting and improve operational efficiencies. The conference, which will take place from May 24 to 26, 2023, will also place a particular focus on consumer protection in the wake of the shift towards digital economies and the associated challenges of cybercrime.
